Eastman National BankNewkirk, OKIn a return to its architectural roots, the main interior teller lobby was restored in a style to match more closely the historic exterior of the building. The original tin ceilings were exposed restoring the volume of the space to its proper height and proportions. A new teller line was installed that was a visual link to the past while meeting new functional requirements of modern banking. New exterior windows match the proportions and detailing of the original wood windows that had been removed years ago. A new wood clad vestibule was added to control the wind while still allowing excellent views of this historic main street downtown.
