How are architectural fees calculated and/or charged?

Since every project is unique, we approach cost in a few ways. With large-scale projects, we charge a percentage fee from the total price of the project. With smaller projects, we charge at an hourly rate. Square footage, material selection and construction type are a few factors that we must consider when estimating a project's value. How long will the design process take?

A project's timeline will vary with the size and complexity of a project. We typically balance multiple projects at once, whether they are at the beginning or end of the design process. Projects usually overlap with their timelines, so we are capable of beginning your project right away.

What is the first step to beginning a project?

Accepted Answer

The first step in beginning your project would be to contact us and let us know you are interested. Please call our office, or email Richard or Sally (all contact information is listed under the 'CONTACT' tab). Next, you can fill out our questionnaire under the 'DESIGN PROCESS' tab to begin assessing your project before the first meeting. This questionnaire is not required, but will allow for a quicker and smoother design process.

How do I find a contractor if I don't already have one?

If you do not already have a contractor in mind, we are happy to make recommendations based on who we have worked with previously. Our recommendations mostly include local contractors (Ponca City area). If the project is in another location, we are happy to assist in the research process.

Question 5

Do we offer engineering services?

Accepted Answer

We do not employ any engineers in our office, however, we have a very close relationship with multiple engineering firms. We will help facilitate the process between you and the engineering team and provide all the necessary contact information.

Do we provide cost estimating?

We do not provide cost estimating services. We are able to provide rough estimations and work with contractors and consultants who can provide detailed estimates for your project.
